Currently, the 80th round of the annual conference of the Academy of the Arabic Language is being carried in Cairo, Egypt. The conference started on Mar. 24th, and is extending until Apr. 7th, with closed meetings of specialized committees 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and public sessions 12:00 PM - 02:00 PM daily.
Participants of the conference include the academy members from Egypt and other Arab countries, as well as correspondent orientalist members from European countries.
Discussions are focused on Arabization issues and challenges, and how to effect use of Arabic language in various areas.
It's worth mentioning that the Academy of Arabic Language in Cairo is the leading complex for the Arabic language studies and issues since its establishment 80 years ago, working in coordination with national academies in other Arab countries that were established afterwards.
We found this year's conference in line with our mission, and we look forward to contributing to and benefiting from the academy's effort in the area of Arabization for the benefit of the bigger whole of the Arab community.
