As has been announced before, and as posted at our website, we had formed an academic working group of volunteers from a number of universities to work together in several activities related to academic development and research in the ITSM field. Please find this information posted at our website here.
This group is currently working on development of an undergraduate university course on ITSM which is intended to be presented after completion to the responsible academic governmental authorities in Egypt for approval and adoption. Since the current size of the group is small, and since all of our participants are volunteers, the progress was found to be slow. Thus, this is a call for more members to join the Academic Working Group to participate in the development of the prospected course.
The group work is highly autonomous, and the EAITSM will be acting as an organizing arm and a legal and formal channel for presenting the group production. Group members manage and assign work independently between themselves. Communications are handled virtually, and members can agree on group or sub-group meetings as they see necessary.
We look for new members with the following characteristics:
Egyptians
Acting University Professors
Working in IT / Computer Science discipline
Willing to devote around 2 hours per week for the group work
Familiar and comfortable with online communication methods
Interested professors may send their letter of interest to: president@eaitsm.org. Kindly note that the project is not funded and all participants are volunteers with no planned compensation.
